Wexford hails from Sandusky, Ohio. With a sound that blends alternative, punk, and post-hardcore influences, their music is characterized by driving rhythms, intricate guitar work, and raw, emotive vocals.
Wexford's influences are varied and the combination makes for a unique sound. The band features Shawn Daley on bass, bringing over 20 years of experience as a touring musician, producer, and studio engineer. Chris French, drums, is a seasoned veteran who has toured extensively. He has been a studio musician on many projects. His talent and showmanship are unmatched. Andy Kohlmann, a talented singer-songwriter, provides compelling vocals and guitar work. Completing the lineup is Dave Mueller, guitarist and vocalist, who grew up a passionate music fan in the DC hardcore/post-hardcore scene. Together they create a unique blend of music that resonates deeply with their audience.

"Silent Key" is Wexford's first studio album since Shawn and Jeff joined founding members Andy and Dave in the Spring of 2023 to solidify Wexford's rhythm section. It is set to drop on August 23, 2024.
The album name "Silent Key" honors a friend and mentor of Shawn who passed away during its recording. "Silent Key" refers to a deceased ham radio operator, symbolizing their silent Morse code key. The ceremony often includes a symbolic final transmission. The album’s last track features a silent key ceremony using this friend's Morse code key.
The album artwork can be summarized in the words of Fugazi: “and inside I know I’m broken, but I’m working as far as you can see. And outside it’s a production. It’s all illusion, set scenery.” Take care of yourself and those around you.
